New Mexico H2O is a small locally owned, water and wastewater consulting firm, specializing in plant operations and assistance to small water and wastewater systems and tribal units. Owner, Bill Baker, has spent over 30 years in the industry from the ground up, having started his career at what was at that time the largest private water/wastewater utility in the state of New Mexico. Bill is a New Mexico certified water and wastewater operator, at the highest levels.
The forerunner of New Mexico H2O was established in 1998 and eventually adopted the current name, and to date has constructed, designed, rehabilitated, operated or provided some degree of project or department management to over 30 different projects or systems, with project values exceeding or approaching 50 million dollars.
The project at the right was built by NM-H2O and staff along with handpicked subcontractors and was the first MBR facility in the state of New Mexico. NM-H2O went on to build the second MBR facility in the state and operated both facilities for several years. Until about 2011, NM-H2O was heavily involved in every MBR built in New Mexico and started up, operated or continue to operate them today.
